Privacy policy
This policy covers the Dairah waitlist and optional research. It explains what we collect, why we need it, and how to contact us about your information.
Information you choose to share
We collect your name, role, city, and email address. WhatsApp is optional. Both roles share a primary platform and handle, page, channel or URL. Brands share a business name and category. Creators share a content niche. Your consent to early-access and onboarding updates is recorded with your signup.
After joining, you may answer optional research questions about your collaboration experience and early-access interest. You can skip research. We do not request identity documents, bank information or payment details for the waitlist.
How we use it
We use waitlist information to organize early access, send the updates you agreed to receive, understand which brands and creators want to participate, and support onboarding. Optional research helps us decide what to build. Joining does not guarantee an access date.
Technical information
We record a signup timestamp, source and campaign attribution parameters when supplied by the link you visited. A referring page may be recorded without its query parameters. Please avoid entering sensitive information in research answers or links.
For spam protection, the server uses a keyed hash of your network address in short-lived rate-limit records. The raw address is not saved in the waitlist database. Hosting providers may process network information in their operational logs. This release defines name-only interface events and does not send them to an external analytics provider.
Storage and access
Dairah uses Supabase for its database and Vercel for hosting. Resend processes your email address, name and role to deliver a transactional signup confirmation. Private delivery status is recorded. Our database is in Mumbai, India; hosting and provider processing may involve other countries. Access to waitlist records is restricted to the Dairah team and required service providers. Visitors cannot browse waitlist contacts or research responses.
We may mirror waitlist details and optional questionnaire responses in private Google Sheets for the Dairah team’s recruitment and research work. These operational copies are restricted to authorized team members and the service account; they are not public directories. Supabase remains our primary record.
We do not sell your waitlist information or publish it as a creator directory. We may share information when necessary to comply with applicable obligations or investigate abuse. Technical safeguards reduce risk; no service can promise perfect security.
Retention and your choices
We keep information for early-access recruitment and research while it remains useful for those purposes. We will review inactive waitlist records within 12 months of collection and remove records no longer needed. You can request a correction, copy or deletion, or withdraw update consent, by emailing thedairah.si@gmail.com. Please use your registered contact method so we can verify the request. Residual copies may remain in restricted provider backups until their normal expiry.
Local preferences and social sharing
Your theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. Signup sessions use short-lived signed tokens held in the page; they are not advertising identifiers. Sharing is optional and happens only when you choose a share action. WhatsApp, Instagram and native sharing destinations have their own privacy practices.
Location map
The About page loads its Google Maps embed only when you choose “Load location map.” Google then processes the connection under its own privacy practices. You can use the separate map link instead.
Changes and questions
We will update this page if the service’s data handling changes. Marketplace accounts, payments and verification will need additional terms and notices before activation. Contact the Dairah team at thedairah.si@gmail.com.
